Trading sideways

March was a comparatively calm month for crypto. While volatility was present, crypto still traded within a band.

That said, my overall portfolio value still grew to $1,985,222. Gains were largely contributed by the crypto portfolio, especially for a large coin position that I have. I’m now edging tantalisingly close to $2M again.

The calm before the…

I’ve been pretty busy this month with studies with projects and exams due soon. I also started intense work on my side hustle that I hope to unveil in the near future. The sideways action in the crypto markets helps as I don’t have to put as much attention to it as before.

I feel that the crypto markets are trading this way due to a lack of fundamental catalysts. Delays in launching of scaling solutions and potential execution risks involved with EIP-1559 and ETH2.0 seems to have put a dampener on market sentiment. With periodic FUD launched from traditional financial regulators like Jerome Powell, Indian regulators and FATF, people seem to have adopted a wait and see approach.

How all of this will shake out is anybody’s guess, but its tough to bet against human innovation.

As usual, this is not a call to buy or sell securities and its just sharing my own thought process for your information. Also, crypto is dangerous AF. Please do your own due diligence prior to investing.

Endowus CPF OA Portfolio

As you may know, I’ve started investing my CPF OA funds with Endowus. I’ve been sharing my portfolio performance for readers’ reference to evaluate product performance for themselves. Nothing much special this month, just the recurring monthly top up.

If you want to learn more about Endowus, do check out my review (Cash/SRS/Fund Smart portfolio details to be updated). Also, if you’re interested in opening an account, do feel free to sign up through my referral link. We will both receive $20 off access fees per referral.
